The ASG-MZL Vehicle Console Timer is engineered for police, fire, EMS, utility, and fleet applications where equipment often runs after ignition-off. By supplying a centrally controlled power source and automatically shutting down loads after a programmable delay, it prevents battery drain while keeping electronics operational when needed.
Programmable & Easy to Use Configure shutdown timing from 15 minutes up to 8 hours using a simple external DIP switch. A diagnostic red LED flashes to confirm active timing functions, while an emergency override button provides instant power reset with a 3-second press.
Built-In Battery Protection
- Low Voltage Disconnect (10V ñ 0.2V): Prevents excessive discharge while ensuring enough cranking amps remain to restart the vehicle.
- Over Voltage Protection (16V ñ 0.2V): Safeguards against alternator or electrical surges.
- Reverse Polarity Protection: Electronics remain safe in wiring errors.
